Local duo visit Brussels to promote new language learning tool
Labour South West MEP Glyn Ford arranged for enterprising local duo Chris Farmer and Lindsey McAleer to meet with the European Commission in
The device is designed to promote easier language learning through a unique approach that uses the minimum number of words to produce the maximum number of practical phrases. After meeting with the pair in Gloucestershire, Glyn Ford offered to arrange and attend a meeting with members of the Commissions education and culture directorate. Chris and Lindsey were able to demonstrate how the learning tool worked and discussed how it could be used across
Glyn Ford MEP said: "Having already met the couple in the South West, and been impressed by their new language learning tool, I felt it was important to help Chris and Lindsey to gain access to the European Commission. Given the simplicity of this learning tool people of all ages, especially adults, now have the opportunity to learn a new language."
